Matching 3D Shapes To There Nets

Today for math I had to copnnect 3D shapes to there nets using the line tool.

Me and Noah have worked on this wrtitng task about an awesome novel called Sun Tamer.

The Word Collector

WALT:  We are learning to develop a rich vocabulary by collecting words
and using these interesting words in our writing.

Success Criteria:  We will collect interesting words that we hear, see and read around our house and group these into categories.  We will then write one paragraph using some of these words to describe where we are.

I open my aluminium sliding door to go out onto my deck. I can hear the
waves from the sea crashing down and making a great big roar. So then I
decided to look up.  I saw my black and white striped cat that had grey
splotches on her torso. Her name is Pixie, she had the potential to catch a
bird, then all of a sudden she pounced out and scurried across the lawn
to chase the bird. The bird got away as Pixie just laid in the middle of the
lawn exhausted.

Learning outcome: To record the experiences of West Coast children from the past 100 years in order to create a History of West Coast people during times of difficulty and challenge - this will be turned into a book to be kept in local museums and at Shantytown.
