I open my aluminium sliding door to go out onto my deck. I can hear the
waves from the sea crashing down and making a great big roar. So then I
decided to look up. I saw my black and white striped cat that had grey
splotches on her torso. Her name is Pixie, she had the potential to catch a
bird, then all of a sudden she pounced out and scurried across the lawn
to chase the bird. The bird got away as Pixie just laid in the middle of the
lawn exhausted.

ReplyDeleteYou have some really interesting words in your list Luken, you put then to good use in your story about Pixie. Its a very true tale on cats and their antics, and how they get all puffed out while bird hunting!

ReplyDeleteLuken you did a wonderful job describing the sound of when you open your aluminum sliding door and pixy chasing a bird and then getting puffed when it got away. I could hear the waves crashing and I could see pixy chasing a bird in my mind. Kei hea mai.
